With Mobile Library Services, we ensure that everyone in Seattle has access to information, ideas, and stories. Mobile Library Services also provides small collections of books and other library materials, called Deposit Collections, to residential assisted living facilities. Each collection is specifically chosen for that facility and rotated on a monthly basis with different materials.

The Mobile Public Library has nine library locations, a Local History & Genealogy division, and a Bookmobile that provides outreach services.

The Mobile Public Library circulated over million physical and digital items last year and enjoyed more than million library visitors. San Mateo County Libraries has a fleet of six Book Bikes that staff use to bring the library to you. Think of a Book Bike as a mini mobile library on three wheels.

Our Book Bikes help us reach out to communities with books, WiFi and program information, all for the love of learning and literacy.
